The Pearl Izumi SyncroPace III features seamless upper and when running it is rolls smoothly along which makes it a very comfortable shoe. Although it feels a little heavy, it does not feel sluggish. The SyncroPace III features rubber knobs in the front of the shoe that are hour glass shaped and also in the heel which helps to dampen impact so a good amount of energy is transfered back with each step, this of course makes the Pearl Izumi SyncroPace III feel springy.
