The Eton Raptor packs a lot in a small package (11 oz) so you can survive. What is it?

Well it is a bit of everything that you will need to survive out in the wild. To ramble off a few features, the Eton Raptor incorporates a altimeter, barometer, compass, thermometer, multi-band radio, stopwatch, alarm, bottle opener and a LED flashlight.

The casing features rugged rubber shield to take drops and bumps and it has a carabiner type hook/loop so you can attach it easily to your belt or onto a backpack.

Hold on to your horses, because there is one more features coming your way. Are you ready? 🙂 There is a monocrystalline solar panel that charges a lithium-ion battery. This power can be used via USB or mini-USB to charge or use any electronic device or cellphone/smartphone.

One great thing about this tool is that it is completely solar powered, however it does take some learning to know how to use everything, so you should certainly spend some time reading over the manual.

Price: $100
Weight: 11 oz
