Marmot Cloudbreak – All Around Sleeping Bag

By Editor | May 27, 2012

Marmot Cloudbreak 20 degrees wet weather sleeping bagThe Marmot Cloudbreak is a nice all around sleeping bag good for campers, backpackers and paddlers. It is ideal for moist / wet climate. The great thing about the Marmot Cloudbreak is the fact that even if the sleeping bag and insulation gets a bit wet, it still will do its job keeping you warm and trapping heat.

The Marmot Cloudbreak also has a nice tight hood that fits snug your face and a well ergonomic footbox area. Another wonderful feature is the draw cords are shaped differently, the upper cord for hood area is flat and smooth. While the lower cord is round, this makes it easier for you to adjust in the middle of the night as your finger can feel the shape of the cord and you will figure out which is which. Lastly, the Marmot Cloudbreak is quite compressible and somewhat light.

Getting back to the insulation, the chest / torso area features fluffier / loftier insulation to keep you warm where it matters. So if you are looking for an all around sleeping bag this will be it and the price is not too bad.

Price: $199
Weight: 2.3 lbs
Temperature Rating: 20 degrees fahrenheit, -7 degrees celcius
