MontBell U.L. (Ultralight) Down Jacket – Ligthweight, Packs a Lot of Warmth
By Editor | February 6, 2014
Designed to replace the bulky fleece layer that takes up too much space in your backpack, the MontBell U.L. (Ultralight) Down Jacket weights no more than a T-shirt and packs up around the size of a water bottle.
In addition to keeping you warm, the Montbell U.L. (ultralight) jacket’s 15-denier ballistic Airlight nylon shell is wind and water resistant. This ultralight down jacket is great for under a rainshell or gore-tex shell and over a mid-weight baselayer.
- 800-fill goose down lofts easily allowing more body heat to be trapped between the feathers which keeps you warm
- 15D, Ballistic Airlight nylon shell ensures durability without sacrificing weight
- Polkatex DWR coating keeps out all extra moisture trying to sneak in
- Single-quilt construction reduces weight and stuffs easily into your pack or pocket
