New Balance 1000 – All Around Insulated Mid-Cut Hiking Boots

The New Balance 1000 hiking boots are ideal for many conditions. You can use it for day hikes or running around town in the colder months of the year. The 1000 is lined with PrimaLoft Eco insulation that offers warmth when temperatures dip to about freezing (15 degrees Farenheit) and they are both waterproof and breathable to keep they moisture out and your feet fairly dry.
Another feature that will keep you dry is the fact that the uppers are made of suede and mesh and these materials are seam-sealed to prevent water from getting in.
If you decide to tackle rougher terrain, the New Balance 1000 will offer good stability, it has a design in which which a piece of thick rubber is placed around the heel and up the achilles to provide tension and thus stability even when carrying a heavy backpack. The New Balance 1000 is also snowshoe friendly.
