Salomon XT Wings II Softshell Jacket

By Editor | October 29, 2010

Salomon XT Wings II softshell jacket

If you are planning for high activity outside in cool weather buy yourself the Salamon XT wings II softshell jacket. The XT Wings II is a extra lightweight softshell that has thin shell fabric providing good wind protection with stretchy breathable fabric on the back and underarms that will wick away moisture very effectively and keep you comfortable.

The front of the jacket is made of wind resistant double-weave polyester that keeps the wind at bay and along with the breathability of the stretchy moisture wicking fabric it makes the Salomon XT Wings II softshell jacket an ideal candidate to take along with you on high output activity trips where it can act as a mid-layer or even use the XT Wings II jacket on its own. Great for climbing, hiking and mountain biking.

The cut and trim of the jacket allows for lots of movement as part of the XT Wings II is made of the stretchy fabric mentioned earlier. The jacket has two pockets that are zippered. If you are planning to use this jacket it is recommended more for excursions that last a few hours…it is not recommended for multi-day trips in which many different types of weather patterns might hit you, so you should consider a hardshell for multi-day trips.

Price: $120 Weight: 6 oz
