Scott Ruston Soft Shell Jacket – Review
By Editor | September 11, 2010
The Scott Ruston soft shell jacket is a very water-resistant shell jacket with a well designed hood and big arm pit zip vents.
The hood features a wire to help stiffen the brim, this way water won’t fly into your eye when heavy rain comes down, and also there is lots of ways to adjust the hood with one adjustment in the back and two adjustments in front of the hood. This allows you to wrap the hood to the shape of your head.
The seams of the Scott Ruston jacket are taped like a hard shell jacket, so don’t be out there in heavy rain for too long…the fabric might hold up but the seams may not. Make sure you open up the arm pit zips when wearing the Ruston soft shell jacket cause it gets steamy quick because the fabric is not as breathable.
Price: $185
