Steripen Adventurer Opti – Purify Water On The Go
By Editor | July 10, 2010
The UV light Steripen technology has been around for a while now, they’ve become more popular recently due to the ease of use. Basically all you have to do to sterilize water is swirl the glowing part of the Steripen in your bottled water for roughly a minute and a half. This duration is time enough to kill off viruses such as protozoa like guardia and viruses like hepatitis.
The Steripen Adventure Opti also features a small flashlight, and it is more compact and a sensor which intensifies the sterilizing ultra-violet (UV) light when it is in water.
