At five-ounces the Columbia RapidFire wind shell jacket is extremely light and fits well in any backpack. The Columbia jacket features a chest pocket and a foldable hood that can be stashed away, with the cut of the jacket it is roomy enough to fit over a fleece jacket should you require additional warmth. The Durable Water (DWR) Repellent is good enough to fend off light rain for about an hour before things soak through.
To keep you from heating up and feeling sweaty inside the Columbia RapidFire windshell jakcet has two back vents to get the humid moisture out quickly. The Columbia jacket can easily be stuffed into one of its pockets to become a small sack.
