Kelty Gunnison BackPacking Tent
By Editor | March 6, 2009
The Kelty Gunnison backpacking tent is a lightweight, inexpensive take on the simple two-door/two-vestibule design that has served backpackers well for years. Set-up is fast and easy thanks to colour-coded corners and pole clips, while the body is well ventilated with large mesh panels on the top and sides. Noiseless door zips combined with two doors means you don’t have to wake your partner to sneak out for a pee in the night.
Keep in mind the simplicity of the Kelty Gunnison backpacking tent (two poles with clips) costs it some strength, making it a poor choice for use in high winds or severe storms.
The Kelty Gunnison backpacking tent is best suited to just about anyone who needs a tent that’s light enough to carry but easy on the pocketbook.
Weight: 2.4 kg, 5.3Ibs, floor: 37 sq ft, vestibule: 24 sq ft Price: $255
