Replacing Broken Tent Poles with Aluminum Arrows
By Editor | July 27, 2010
If you break a tent pole you could replace it with an aluminum arrow shaft. Many arrows are made of Easton aluminum which are similar grade to tent poles and come in hollow 36-inch lengths that can be cut down to size.
Just go to any archery shop and they will probably have one to match the tent pole that you have broken. Use a thin cord or fishing line to re-string the elastic cord.
