Eureka Taron Basecamp 6 – Stormproof and Roomy Tent
By Editor | June 20, 2014
30 mph wind and sideways rain would not blow the Eureka Taron Basecamp 6 tent over once you nail it down and set it up. A pair of giant, U-shaped doors made entry simple, even when the tent was packed with a family of five plus dog. Adults will appreciate the room with the 72-inch peak height and 64 square feet of floor space, while kids liked the touchscreen-friendly pocket for tablet movie-viewing.
The rear vestibule can be used as a shaded awning or close it shut for sheltered storage. Shiny fabric near the peak reflects light from a hung lantern, like a dome lamp. High/low vents offered excellent airflow, even in humid conditions makes the interior comfortable.
