Montrail Stratos XCR Winter Boot

This lightweight high-cut winter boot is made of Gore-Tex waterproof breathable shell.. In most other type of Gore-Tex boots the Gore-Tex material is placed between the fabrics of the upper portion of the boot, however with the Stratos XCR boot the Gore-Tex is the actual outer layer. This is boot is comfortable in the sense that keeps the foot securely in place with its form fitting inner mesh lining.
The way the shoe is contructed keeps the feet and the actual shoe dry.All in all it offers superb weather protection and breathability, the great thing is the shoe stays pretty much the same weight even when it is wet, because it doesn’t absorb the water.
