REI Roadster UL Tent

This REI solo (1 person) tent is quite a bargain. The REI Roadster tent is double-walled and measures a long 82 inches and the struts at the ends increases the space in the corners which contributes to ample elbow room. The tent is also very light, weighing less than most sleeping bags.
The mesh panels inside prevented condensation quite well and the shell did very well shedding rain even in heavy conditions. The only negative is that it is not a freestanding design and hence it was a little tricky to pitch. Also the vestibule was small, so you couldn’t put a whole lot outside the sleeping area.
