The Salomon Comet 3D GTX hiking boots are well designed and allow you to hike at a fast and smooth pace. Salomon borrowed technologies from their trail-running shoes and applied it to a hiking boot and the result is the Comet 3D GTX.
They feel just as comfortable as a running shoe, but offer up plenty of supported needed on outdoor uneven terrain for long hiking trips. The boot is made of mesh and suede which contributes to the lightweight of the hiking boot. This is definitely a winner for avid hikers.
