Keen Pyrenees Mid-cut Hiking Boots – Sturdy and Waterproof
By Editor | September 26, 2011
The Pyrenees by Keen is a mid-cut hiking boot that can last the test of time, like hiking over a hundred miles over many years in them. The upper of the hiking boot is made of thick and strong leather which can take quite a beating on or off the trails from jagged rocks, potruding tree branches and the likes.
At $140 this hiking boot is sturdy, some would pay twice this price for the same rugged long lasting toughness from other brands.
The Keen Pyrenees supports the ankles well and offer great stability and balance on even surfaces. As well the Pyrenees weight and size is very manageable in part due to the molded EVA midsole, that gives it a stiffness with the incorporated urethane plate.
The soles of the Keen Pyrenees mid-cut boot is designed for grip, the lugs are shaped like damonds and they do a good job on dirt and slippery rock.
All in all at $140 this hiking boot is a great value for hikers and outdoor enthusiast that want a sturdy boot that will last for a while.
Price: $140
