GoLite Kenai Waterproof Shell Jacket

If you want a great shell jacket with plenty of protection from the elements on a trip lasting several days the GoLite Kenai shell jacket is a good candidate to stuff in your backpack.
All the seems of the Kenai are taped and the shell is made of Pertex Shield which is highly waterproof and breathable. There is also a longer than usual 13 inch arm pit zipper so when things get hot and humid you can easily get rid of internal moisture by venting things out.
Two hand pockets are well placed at hip level and there is also a large chest pocket for either gloves, hats are larger gear. The hood is made of the same weatherproof material and is adjustable, so you do not have to worry about getting wet or the cold wind.
