The Marmot Spire shell jacket is a 3 layer Gore-Tex that is completely seam sealed in every spot that could possibly leak water. The hood is easily adjustable and it is helmet friendly, so would be a great jacket on the slopes or out in the wild when the weather turns foul (rainy). In addition to a hood that can withstand high winds, the Marmot Spire has a zip off internal skirt for snowboarding or skiing…a bonus.
