The Outdoor Research Alibi softshell jacket is made of waterproof / breathable fabric called Ventia on the shoulders, arms and hood for great protection in those areas. The torso area has a more breathable and water resistant fabric, while under the arms there is some stretchy polyester.
The waterproof / breathable jacket of the O.R Alibi jacket did very well at shedding medium strength rain and it was breathable enough that it didn’t feel very hot and humid inside which makes this jacket a good choice for hiking in moderate rain type weather.
The Outdoor Research Alibi softshell jacket features a waterproof dual hood design with a stretchy polyester liner to keep your head warm and there is two pockets below hipbelt area . The jacket itself is trim while offering good mobility.
