The O.R (Outdoor Researh) Virtuoso provides mountaineering performance to all your winter activities, whether it’s snow shoeing, snowboarding or winter climbing. For a reasonable price this jacket features 20-denier ripstop polyester shell around the torso area and superbly water-resistant Pertex Endurance on the shoulders and sleeves.
The fit and cut of the Outdoor Research Virtuoso is not to tight, which allows the wearer to layer both over and under the jacket and not to loose as to let heat escape.
To keep the price down 650-fill down was used, however this doesn’t make this jacket any lesswarm, it performs very well in sub-zero environments. The hood is also insulated and is helmet compatible for climbers and skiers/snowboarders and it features side and back adjustments for a snug fit.
