The Sierra Designs BTU-20 is a great cold weather sleeping bag rated for as low as -20 degrees farenheit or -28.8 degrees celcius. The BTU-20 mummy sleeping bag features 800-fill down and has a microfleece lined footbox area that is effective keep your feet nice and toasty.

As for the exterior of the Sierra Designs BTU-20 cold weather sleeping bag, it is made of DriZone waterproof / breathable shell which keeps wetness and wind out while allowing some internal moisture out so you don’t sweat too much in the sleeping bag. The sleeping bag’s trim is average, slightly above trim which shouldn’t make you feel squeezed, as well there is a tight hood to keep heat from escaping around your head area.

The Sierra Designs BTU-20 offers great warmth for a bag this size and weight, it packs down into its stuff sack to about 9″ X 19″. Although a bit expensive the BTU-20 is well worth it for anyone who does winter camping and mountaineering.
