Mountain Hardware Koa 35 Overnight Backpack – Review

By Editor | August 29, 2010

Mountain Hardwear Koa 35 backpackIf you want a backpack for light overnight trips, look no further than the Mountain Hardware Koa 35. The roll-top closure is easy to secure to keep items in the pack and the Koa 35’s mesh back panel will keep your back cool and free of sweat from carrying the pack.

There is quite few nifty features on the Mountain Hardware Koa 35 backpack, such as a stretchy zip-away pocket on the front of the pack. This pocket is designed to carry bike helmets, but can also serve as spare storage area layer. There is also two hidden pockets on either side of the roll top closure just big enough for electronic gadgets and snack bars.

The bungee cords on the Koa 35 are small but they did a good enough job strapping down and holding sleeping pads and walking poles. The Mountain Hardware Koa also come in a 3,650 cubic inch version.

Price: $190 Weight: 3.4 lbs
