Giant Anthem X2 Mountain Bike Review

By Editor | July 7, 2010

Giant Anthem X2 Mountain bike

The Giant Anthem X2 is a line of mountain bikes that are a little more tuned towards trails as opposed to racing. The geometry and travel of the mountain bike is longer at 4 inches instead of 3.5 inch.  You would think that the Giant Anthem X2’s long travel would make the bike slower, but the X2 goes full speed like a racer with good handling.

A nice stiff aluminum frame is responsible for the quick handling and the FOX F100RL forks assist in adding more responsive. Shifting and braking components are from the Deore XT line of components by Shimano, good parts without adding to the cost of the Giant Anthem X2 mountain bike.

Price: $2900
Weight: 25.3 lbs
