Kelty Shrike – Day Backpack

The Kelty Shrike day pack is a 2000 cubic inch backpack that is a mix between a school book bag and a classic day pack. The Kelty Shrike is a multi-function pack with a suspension system which consist of a padded back panel and shoulder straps, nothing too high tech, but it works and is comfortable for long hikes as long as you do not overload it (30 pounds maximum).
The Kelty Shrike is quite a handy in the city as well, the front storage area stores items such as pen and gadgets and this day pack was big enough to also be used as a travel carry-on bag for a weekend trip (avoid check-in bags). There is a removable hip belt on the Kelty Shrike, which can be removed if you are only going for a short walk.
