Sierra Designs Backpacker Rain Jacket
By Editor | January 29, 2008
The Sierra Designs Backpacker rain jacket features 1.3 oz. ripstop nylon with PU coating and Fully-taped seams for waterproofness. It did extremely well in heavy down pour situations, where no water leaked into the jacket at all. It also offers pretty good wind protection.
The Superior Core Vent-ilation System is basically 2 zippers in the front which opens and helps vent out the hot air. Zippered hand pockets are mesh-lined for added ventilation. The entire jacket stows into a pocket for convenience. Single-hand adjustment at hem makes waist adjustment easier. In conclusion this jacket is a nice to have outdoor gear for those rainy and windy days.
Price: $30 USD
