The Sierra Designs Side Car sleeping bag is one of the few technical sleeping bags made specifically for kids. Designed like a regular mummy bag (complete with a hood) but cut to fit those five feet and under, it minimizes wasted space and weight. Comfort features include a watch pocket, fleece-lined footbox, stuffable pillow pocket and sleeping pad keeper straps. And it uses synthetic fill, which means it will stay warm when wet and, more importantly for parents, be easy to wash.
Keep in mind the Sierra Designs Side Car sleeping bag only comes in one size. Buy it when they’re young and let them grow into it.
