The Outdoor Research Ion Pullover jacket is a light jacket. When the jacket is pack into its reversible chest pocket it weighs less than 2 Powerbars (Energy bars). It packs into a small package. the ergonomically designed hood swivels with your head, so it doesn’t obstruct your view when needing to look around quickly.
The jacket is made of very thin ripstop nylon fabric, when pulled over a base or mid-layer it blocks the wind and light preciptation. Suited for day-hikers that need ultra-light weather protection that can be easily packed away. The jacket also features a 3/4 length zipper to aid with ventilation. The Outdoor research weighs in at 3.5oz or 100g.
