The North Face Beeline 900 Sleeping Bag

The North Face Beeline 900 is a good sleeping bag for all 3-seasons. The shell is made of a material called Pertex Quantum. This shell is paper-thin, but very effective in keeping cold out and you comfortable in the inside of the bag.

This jacket is pretty decent.The inner lining is a standard 200 weight black fleece jacket and the outer shell is a water-resistant nylon (100%). The inner fleece just zips into the outer nylon jacket to form one jacket. You can also wear each of them separately for either warmth (fleece) or water resistence (nylon).

The GoLite Hut 1 tent is a floorless tent that has a tapered A-frame design. It combines the weight savings of a tarp, but with the wind and weather protection of a tent. Tough quality stitching and adjustable stakes make this tent a very sturdy shelter. Hunkered down it can withstand 30mph winds without much of a flutter.  The setup of the tent is also quick and the door provided easy entry and enough width for looking out of the tent.

Your feet can experience a difficult time on a canoe trip. They can get cold and cramped while you are in the canoe or kayak, and then later they are expected to tread over wet rocks and muddy terrain while portaging. Sandles are not aquedate for the purpose of paddling. Pebbles can get under your feet and cause discomfort, not to mention you can get nasty mosquito bites  and in cold water conditions your feet are exposed to the cold.
